Spirit Of LomasMy first Sisson Nordkapp. Ordered March 1996 for Alaska 1996, and used on several other kayak trips. The name Spirit of Lomas comes from the Rime of the Ancient Mariner's spirit from the land of mist and snow, appropriate to my Alaskan and Greenland trips. I chose that name towards the end of my Alaskan trip, during the course of which I had memorised the poem. |
